Prof. Howard attends Climate Week Events

Prof. Howard attended the Great debate on whether Centralized vs Decentralized HVAC system were best for delivering decarbonized buildings in New York City held during #ClimateWeekNYC. It was a great discussion with people in attendance from NYSERDA, Con Edison, the city's top property managers and consulting firms, and startups in the space including Kelvin founded by a Columbia grad. We had lots to learn from each other and there is still a lot to learn about what it really takes to decarbonize buildings especially the challenging large and old New York City building stock.
